Are you struggling with life? Having trouble in your relationships? Problems at school or work? Abandoned or neglected by family and friends? There are some things that you need to know. First: Jesus loves you!!! The most important thing we need to know in life is that Jesus loves you; so much so that He died on a cross to save you from from the penalty of your sins and so that you could live with Him in Heaven someday. John 3:16 says: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” And nothing in this life can separate us from that love. Romans 8:35 tells us: “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Secondly: We have sinned against a Holy and Righteous God. ” For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23). Thirdly: We must all die for sinning against God. “For the wages of sin is death;” (Romans 6:23). Fourthly: We need to know that Jesus has paid the penalty for our sinning against Him. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8). Fithly: We need to turn to God and call upon Him. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10). “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13). After sincerely doing these things the Bible tells us that: “I (Jesus) say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.” Doing these things will not take away our problems or fix everything in our life but it will give us hope (Titus 2:13, I Peter 1:3, Psalm 31:24, Psalm 38:15, Psalm 119:114) and the strength (Exodus 15:2, Psalm 18:1-2, Psalm 27:1, Psalm 46:1, Isaiah 12:2, Isaiah 40:31) to face the day and the trials of life. God’s Word (the Bible) has the answer (Proverbs 3:6, Matthew 7:7, James 1:5, Philippians 4:6) to every problem we face. We just need to be willing to read the word and obey what it says.
