If there is one overriding theme<\/em> that you can take<\/em> from a lot of the comments that have been written to me on my<\/em> YouTube<\/a> channel, is that there is a hurting world out there! It saddens me to read some of the comments that I have gotten. But as we come to this time of the year when millions around the world celebrate the birth of the Savior of mankind, there is Hope! Hope to heal hurting lives and bodies! If we turn our eyes to the Light of the world. John<\/em> 8:12<\/em> says: Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.<\/a><\/em> Yes, there is hope! The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.<\/a><\/em> (Lamentations 3:24)<\/em>. Please don’t despair, God is always there, always waiting for us to call on Him! As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me.<\/a> (Psalm 55:16). The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.<\/a><\/em> (Psalm 145:18). There is an old song written by Helen Lemmel Whose lyrics go like this:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

O soul are you weary and troubled
No light in the darkness you see
There’s light for a look at the Savior
And life more abundant and free<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in his wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of his glory and grace<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

His word shall not fail you he promised
Believe him and all will be well
Then go to a world that is dying
His perfect salvation to tell<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in his wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of his glory and grace<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
